Maria De La Cruz
Development Director | mdelacruz@outfront.org
Maria has called Minnesota home since 2002. She had her first nonprofit job working in the domestic violence movement, and started working in progressive politics in 2009.
A woman with many identities—mother, Latina, Native American, and lesbian—Maria is dedicated to elevating the voices of our communities. Her passion is fundraising, and, as a natural extrovert, is inspired by meeting new people and developing relationships with supporters from all walks of life.
Maria is a life-long learner. She has her B.A. in Women Studies from Metropolitan State University, her M.A. in Nonprofit Management from Hamline University, and is currently working towards her J.D. at Hamline University School of Law.
Family keeps Maria grounded. Some of her favorite activities include swimming, laughing and reading with her twin children.
Maria De La Cruz joined OutFront Minnesota in May 2011 as the Development Director.
