Anti-Violence Program Crisis Services Coordinator
OutFront Minnesota Anti-Violence Program Crisis Services Coordinator Kristi Gibson has worked with anti-violence focused, community-based programs for over 14 years. She has expertise in sexual assault and domestic violence, and has worked in a variety of service provision capacities including advocacy, volunteer supervision, support group facilitation and individual crisis counseling.
In her current role at OutFront Minnesota, she coordinates all Anti-Violence Program crisis services activities for GLBT crime victims including staffing the 24 hour crisis line, providing individual crisis counseling and providing direct advocacy services to victims working with law enforcement, legal and medical systems. She also also oversees the recruitment and training of volunteers for the Anti-Violence Program.
Ms. Gibson has a B.A in Sociology and Women's Studies from Mankato State University.
