Jo Marsicano
Communications Director
OutFront Minnesota Communications Director Jo Marsicano has worked as
a communications professional for 21 years. She worked as a broadcast
journalist, garnering awards for her coverage of the state tobacco
trial, Minnesota’s child support crisis, and Wisconsin puppy mills. She
developed a specialty in legal affairs reporting, covering Minnesota’s
appellate courts. Jo also wrote freelance news articles for the
Minnesota Women’s Press on subjects ranging from a class action sex
discrimination case at a state university and the effect on women of the
war on drugs. As Communications Director, Jo oversees media,
publications, electronic communications, website, strategic
communications, and all aspects of external communications. Before
joining OutFront Minnesota in 2006, Jo was a communications specialist
at PATH, a nonprofit foster care organization, and did nonprofit
communications consulting. Jo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass
Communications from the University of Wisconsin. |
