Workplace Alliance Networking Series

The WPA is kicking off a new series of evening networking events. Each networking night will spotlight a different employee resource group and will be open to any participants from across the Twin Cities.

Networking nights will emphasize socializing, networking and sharing best practices. Please contact us if your group is interested in hosting!

A.H. Wilder Foundation and Ameriprise Financial join list of companies committed to tax parity for domestic partner benefits. The company has signed onto the Business Coalition for Tax Equity.

Workplace Alliance members join Roger Kleppe, Vice President of Human Resources and Facilities Services at BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota

Workplace Alliance members join Roger Kleppe, Vice President of Human Resources and Facilities Services at BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota as he signs the Business Coalition for Benefits Tax Equity. This coalition is a group of employers that support federal legislation to eliminate the tax penalty on domestic partner benefits, primarily health insurance. Kleppe signed the coalition at the Workplace Alliance Power Breakfast on December 5th, 2006.

The WPA has also created a manual entitled "Achieving Benefits Parity at Your Company." This manual includes sample forms and suggestions for implementing employee benefits policies at your company. Please call OutFront Minnesota to order a copy.
