Networking Series The WPA is kicking off a new series of evening
networking events. Each networking night will spotlight a different
employee resource group and will be open to any participants from across
the Twin Cities. Networking nights will emphasize socializing, networking and sharing

The Workplace Alliance held an awards luncheon this spring to honor
the organizations that have signed on the Business Coalition for Tax
Equity. General Mills, the first Minnesota
company to sign on, hosted the event. Honorees

partner benefits. The company has signed onto the
Business Coalition for Tax Equity.
Workplace Alliance helps promote business coalition for
domestic partnership tax equity.

Workplace Alliance members join Roger Kleppe, Vice President of Human
Resources and Facilities Services at BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota
as he signs the
Business Coalition for Benefits Tax Equity.
This coalition is a group of employers that support federal legislation
to eliminate the tax penalty on domestic partner benefits, primarily
health insurance. Kleppe signed the coalition at the Workplace Alliance
Power Breakfast on December 5th, 2006. |
