We've received a lot of feedback that Duluthians want training specifically to support our LGBTQ community in conversations on domestic violence, sexual violence, and the oppressions we face on a daily basis. This training will equip you to provide effective and confidential/legally protected advocacy to folks who have experienced relationship abuse, sexual violence, hate/bias crime, and/or are suicidal/experiencing a mental health crisis. It's truly a great way to connect with like-minded community members, and a meaningful way to give back to the community at the same time.

This training is FREE! We will be convening Friday Oct. 11 from 4-8pm, Saturday from 9-5pm, and Sunday Oct. 13 9-noon. We would like people to be present and available the whole weekend as this curriculum will be building upon itself all weekend. We do ask that you provide your own accommodations if you're coming in from out of the immediate Duluth area. We will be providing food throughout our time together, as well, and thanks to our fantastic partners at Take Action, we will be meeting at their office in Duluth at 25 N 21st Ave W.

To register, email our Greater MN organizer at jesus@outfront.org with your name, email, phone number, and dietary restrictions/allergies.
