There are additional GLBT groups on campus. Sexuality and Gender Activism (SaGA) is Carleton's LGBTQA activism group. We address issues such as civil rights, legislation, human rights in the U.S. and abroad, community issues, college policy, and campus awareness around matters of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender interest.

We are a resource center for the queer and allied community. We have books, videos, computers, informational handouts, educational trainings, panels, and many activities on campus. We are also a safe space for queers and allies on campus.

SAGE is a coalition of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Questioning, Queer people and heterosexual Allies working together to combat sexuality and gender inequality, homophobia, heterosexism and hate, and all the interlocking systems of oppression; by fostering understanding and awareness, providing education, and promoting visibility, while creating a sense of community and safety; this is achieved through activism, the creation of social networks, and community volunteerism. SAGE meetings are every Tuesday at 5 p.m. in CSU 203 (during normal school operation), and are open to everyone! All those at meetings are asked to protect the privacy of others at the meetings.

This organization serves the Albert Lea, Austin, and Owatonna areas.

There are additional GLBT groups on campus. A fraternity whose mission is to enhance the quality of life among gay, bisexual and progressive men by providing dignified and purposeful social, service and recreational activities.

The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Programs Office is dedicated to improving campus climate for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people at the University of Minnesota and to addressing the harmful effects of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identification.

The Queer Student Cultural Center's (QSCC) mission is to celebrate the diversity and culture of the queer community; educate the University of Minnesota community on issues pertinent to the lives of queer students; advocate for inclusion and equality of all persons regardless of sexual or gender orientation; provide a safe space for queer students to meet and form a sense of community; empower queer individuals and organizations.

There are additional GLBT groups on campus. With a fall lecture series on homophobia and health care, and a social component to relieve feelings of isolation, the GLBT Medical Students and Friends plays a vital role as one component of medical student education.

Our primary goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for GLBT students, faculty, staff, as well as members of the greater Grand Forks community.

To promote respect for all members of the UST community, the Allies are dedicated to supporting gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people. Members educate themselves and others about the issues facing the GLBT community and support open dialogue between group members and the rest of the UST community.

Educates campus regarding gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues in a positive and productive learning atmosphere; promotes a law school environment free from discrimination, bias and intolerance. Out!Law encourages both GLBT and heterosexual students to participate in this learning process.
