In recent years, several Minnesota school districts have adopted “gender inclusion policies,” which articulate a district’s planned approach to accommodating the needs of transgender and gender-nonconforming students.  One example is the policy adopted by the St Paul Public Schools, which you can review here: https://www.spps.org/genderinclusion. OutFront Minnesota encourages school districts to give thoughtful consideration to developing their own plans, keeping in mind state and federal requirements and recommendations.  OutFront Minnesota has outlined several general principles which a successful policy should include.
