Educational Equity means finding what every student needs to be successful - academically, socio-emotionally, and everything-in-between- and getting it for them.
The process is complex, dynamic, and on-going: owning flaws and biases, engaging in courageous conversations to challenge prejudice and discrimination, creating environments where students feel safe to share what they need, and breaking down any systems that are creating barriers.
OutFront Minnesota's Anti-Violence Program (AVP) is a broad-based effort to end violence and harassment against and within LGBTQ+ communities in Minnesota.
The Director of the Anti-Violence Program is responsible for overseeing operations of all program services, including direct supervision and development of AVP staff, oversight of the program budget, and procurement/management of grants and funding.
We’re looking for an energetic and imaginative communicator who is full of creative ideas to advance LGBTQ+ equity through digital organizing.
This person will create a vision for OutFront’s online presence and lead its digital campaigns. They will organize people and build power online around campaigns like ending conversion “therapy,” trans justice, and electing pro-equity leaders.
